Plans and what's free

During the beta everything is free. What a plan changes, what is always free, and what a locked card means.

Everything is free during the beta

Right now TutorCat is in its beta. The Plans page says it plainly: "Everything is free during the beta".

To see it, open Settings, find Plan, and tap See plans or Manage plan.

The Plans page during the beta
  1. 1: Free for now

Always free, on every plan

Some things are never behind a paywall, now or later:

  • Safety and helplines.
  • Parent consent.
  • Wellbeing check-ins, streaks and your portfolio.
  • Downloading your data and deleting your account.

What a plan could add

When plans open, a family plan adds extras, like Career exploration and Financial literacy in Explore, and longer trends (90 days) in Vitals.

Plans are for parents to decide. If you ever see plan cards with prices, talk to your parent. Don't choose one yourself.

What a locked card means

If something isn't part of your plan, you see a locked card instead, with a small lock. It might say, for example, "Career exploration isn't open on this plan yet."

A locked Explore track, with the "Need help now?" line
  1. 1: Not on this plan
  2. 2: Help is never locked

Even locked cards have a "Need help now?" line. Help is never locked.
