Your Home page
Your day streak, your level and points, and a list of your recent sessions you can filter by subject.
Home is the first thing you see when you sign in. It says "Welcome back" and your name. It shows how you are doing at a glance.
- 1: Your day streak
- 2: Your level
- 3: Show one subject
- 4: What you did lately
- 5: Light or dark
Your day streak
The Day streak card counts the days in a row you have done a session. Do one session a day to keep it going. If you miss a day, the streak starts again. Your best streak is never lost: TutorCat remembers it.
On a phone, your streak is the little flame number at the top of the screen.
Your level and points
The level card shows your points and your Level. The bar fills up as you earn points. It also says how many points you need for the next level.
How do you earn points? By learning! Steps you work through earn more than answers. Finishing lessons in Explore counts too.
Under the bar you can see your Sessions this week and Questions asked.
Filter by subject
Under Subjects you see a chip for each subject you have studied, like Math or Physics.
- Tap a subject to see only those sessions.
- Tap it again, or tap All, to see everything.
Recent activity
Recent activity lists your latest sessions, newest first. Each row shows the subject, how many steps were given, and when it was. A row that says "Awaiting engagement" means you have not worked through the steps of that one yet.
Your first visit
When you are brand new, Home looks a bit different. It says "Ask your first question. Photo of the worksheet works too." There are two big buttons:
- Start a session → opens the Learning Studio.
- Snap homework opens the Learning Studio and asks for your camera.
If Home can't load
If you see Can't load your activity, check your internet, then tap Retry. Nothing is lost.
For younger students (grades 3-5)
Your Home has the same parts, with bigger words and bigger buttons, so it is easier to read and tap. Tap Learning in the menu to ask a question.
- 1: Your day streak
- 2: Ask a question here
