Every whiteboard lesson you have had, in one place. Search them, open them, watch them again, or ask TutorCat to quiz you.

  5. Who can see My lessons?

Every time TutorCat teaches you on the whiteboard, the lesson is kept for you. My lessons puts them all on one page, so you can find a lesson again when you want to revise.

My lessons: a search box, subject chips, and lesson cards grouped into This week and Earlier
  1. 1: Search your lessons
  2. 2: One subject only
  3. 3: Your newest lesson

Open My lessons

  • On a computer or tablet: tap My lessons in the menu, just under Learning.
  • On a phone: tap Me at the bottom of the screen, then My lessons.

Find a lesson

Your newest lessons are at the top. They are in two groups: This week and Earlier. Lessons from old chats are here too.

  1. To look for a lesson, type in the search box. TutorCat looks at the lesson's title, the chat's title and the words on the board. So "heart", "fractions" or "volcano" all work.
  2. To see one subject only, tap its chip, like Biology or Math.

Each card shows:

  • the lesson's title, in the same handwriting as the board,
  • the first two parts of the board, so you remember what it was about,
  • the date you had it,
  • From the TutorCat Library, if the lesson came from the Lesson Library.

Open, replay or get quizzed

Each card has three buttons.

  • Open takes you to the chat the lesson is in. You can carry on asking questions there.
  • Replay opens the board full screen and plays it again from the start, with the pen and the voice.
  • Quiz me starts a new chat in the same subject and asks TutorCat to quiz you on that lesson. It is a good way to check you remember it.
One lesson card: the title and its first two parts in handwriting, then Open, Replay and Quiz me
  1. 1: What the board covers
  2. 2: Back to the chat
  3. 3: Watch it again
  4. 4: Test yourself

No lessons yet?

If you have not had a whiteboard lesson yet, the page says "Lessons you learn on the whiteboard will appear here." Tap Start a session and ask TutorCat to explain something, like "How does the heart work?". See Learn on the whiteboard.

Who can see My lessons?

My lessons is made from your own chats, so the same rules apply as for your chats. You can see it, and so can a parent who has said yes to your account. Other students never see your lessons or your questions.
