How it works
Three steps, nothing to set up. It works from tonight's homework, no school account needed.
They ask real homework questions and TutorCat teaches step by step. It never hands over the final answer, so every session shows what they can genuinely do.
It watches across sessions and names the specific topic, with evidence, never a vague "weak at maths". If there is no evidence, nothing is flagged.
Three or four things, each with a time cost and an owner. Most belong to your child. Your part takes under two minutes, and you do not need to know the topic.

The scorecard

Why the data is true
A tool that hands over answers is measuring its own output, not the child. The final answer stays locked until the student works through the steps, and the gate is enforced by the server, not the interface. Try to break it in the demo, or in the live tutor above.

The weekly plan
Most items belong to your child. One or two small ones are yours, and they take under two minutes. You do not need to understand the topic to do your part.
A backlog dumped on a parent is abandoned. Priority is the feature: at most one item per area, each with a time cost.
Your part might be asking your child to explain one answer back to you. About 90 seconds. In a two-home family, both parents receive the same plan independently.
Last week's completion feeds next week's plan, without shame framing. An item that rolled over is a signal, not a report card on the family.
